Tesla Customers Pay Twice For Cars With New Payment Option

The American electric vehicle and energy company Tesla is now facing some problems after some customers were charged double for the cars they bought. Findings suggest that the problem stems from Tesla’s move to accept bitcoin and bank transfers and automated clearing houses or ACH transfers. Customers who used Telsa’s ACH service to pay for their cars were billed twice, meaning that they were billed once for the balance owed on their new Tesla and then, without notice or approval, a second time.

Concerning the refund process, Tesla did not make the process easy for its customers. Among the various options available to customers is a phone call to their bank and a request to cancel the transaction. However, this process may take up to a month.
