Home Depot Extends Its Partnership With Google Cloud

On Wednesday, Home Depot announced plans to extend its partnership with Google Cloud after the company recorded massive growth in digital sales during the pandemic.

With the planned extension, Home Depot will make use of Google cloud’s AI capabilities and tools, such as BigQuery, to deliver more flexible assortment planning, predictive inventory management, and more robust logistics requirements.

The company will continue to use Google Cloud AI capabilities to enable the voice search feature in the Home Depot app.

Home Depot’s digital sales increased by 86% in 2020.
