In the next 15 days, Google will introduce a simple spam tool that allows users to block individual email addresses.
This comes after the spam problem in Google Drive, which allowed anyone to share a file with users as long as they knew their addresses.
With the new feature, blocking a user not only prevents them from sharing content with a specific person but also removes all sharing between an individual and a blocked person.
The feature will also block a person across many other Google services.
This is commendable, but more needs to be done, as any spammer can easily create a new account and bypass the fix.
