Instagram said on Monday it had solved a problem that led to glitches with its platform for some users.

Instagram became inaccessible to nearly 6,000 users, according to the outage tracking website Downdetector.com.

Downdetector monitors outages by compiling status reports from a variety of sources, including user-submitted bugs on its platform. These outages may occur from a larger number of users.

Instagram shared in a tweet on Monday: ‘We know that some people are currently having issues, and we’re fixing it ASAP.”
