Apple, Affirm To Launch Buy-Now-Pay-Later Program In Canada

Share post:

Apple and Affirm Holdings’ PayBright are preparing to launch a “buy now, pay later” program for Apple device purchases in Canada that will allow customers to pay for their iPhone, Mac and iPad over 12 to 24 months.

The new service allows iPhone, Mac and iPad users in Canada to pay for their devices over 12 or 24 months instead of paying them in full at the time of the transaction.

In the U.S., Australia and Europe, “buy now, pay later” is being touted as an alternative to credit cards. Service has skyrocketed during the pandemic as consumers find other ways to make shopping easier and more flexible.

Apple and Affirm are scheduled to launch the program at Apple stores in Canada in August.
