Apple’s New Operating Systems See Business Focused Updates

Share post:

Apple is introducing several new features to launch its iOS15, iPadOS 15 and macOS Monterey, aimed at luring business people with simpler management tools.

Features include mobile device management (MDM) updates and declarative management, which includes device configurations, assets, activations and management and allows settings and status reports to be more dynamic.

Apple will also provide iOS and iPadOS settings to require a managed pasteboard, preventing content from being copied and pasted from one managed app to another.

Another feature is the improved scaling of Mac fleet management, which extends to macOS and requires administrators to force delayed software updates while making it easier to delete all content and settings.

Apple also allows the iPadOS 15 to make changes that allow stores, hospitality and similar industries to share devices with temporary sessions.
