Apple will pay one-time bonuses of up to $1,000 to store workers in October, Bloomberg News reported, citing insiders.

The tech giant will distribute $1,000 to retail employees hired before March 31, while those hired after that date will receive $500.

New employees hired for the holiday shopping season will receive $200 and bonuses will also be paid to AppleCare and employees in online sales.

Apple’s retail chief said that Apple is expanding its retail business and is betting that a synergy of strategies developed before and during COVID-19 will make its stores even more popular.
