Tech Leaders Say Companies Need A Quantum Computing Strategy

In a Classiq survey of technology leaders, 98.6% of respondents in a recent survey “believe that quantum computing is a necessity or is important to advance technology performance” and 95.7% believe that quantum computing will lead to a performance breakthrough.

Many technology leaders have shown massive interest in the technology, though it presents some challenges that limit its practical use.

Despite this optimism of technology leaders, reality shows that there is still a long way to go, with only 61.9% of respondents saying that their companies currently have a budget for quantum deployment.

Among the obstacles hindering the growth of quantum computing technology, respondents cited costs, lack of experts in the field, lack of good software environments, convenience over time, lack of hardware availability and current capacity constraints. Some respondents believed that this could be solved by creating better development platforms and environments.

With massive support for quantum computing and future business plans, organizations that remain oblivious of the technology may end up being left behind as the world evolves.
