Twitter Web Outage Forces Users To Log Out, Blocks Logins

Twitter experienced a global outage affecting its web platform, forcing users to log out and prevent them from viewing tweets.

The outage began Tuesday at noon EST and only interfered with the web/desktop version of Twitter.

Trying to use Twitter, its website redirected users to https://twitter.com/logout/error and displayed an error message that read, “Something went wrong, but don’t fret – it’s not your fault. Let’s try again.”

At 1:42 PM EST, the Twitter support account announced that the issue had been fixed and users will be able to successfully log back into the site.
