Veteran actor William Shatner will be part of Blue Origin’s second crewed flight, scheduled to take place on Wednesday.

Other crew members who will accompany Shatner on the trip include former NASA engineer and co-founder of satellite imaging company Planet Labs, Chris Boshuizen; Glen de Vries, entrepreneur and manager at French software company Dassault Systemes; and most recently Blue Origin’s vice president of mission and flight operations, Audrey Powers.

While the mission, called NS18, is set to launch at 6:30 a.m. PT Wednesday, Blue Origin’s coverage will begin 90 minutes earlier and will be streamed live.

Shatner, best known for his role as James T. Kirk, captain of the Starship Enterprise in the Star Trek universe and also a recording artist who has released over 10 albums, commented on the move into space and said he would write a song about the experience for his next album.
