Dell Deploys Tools To Accelerate Data Analytics on Edge

Share post:

Dell has expanded its edge portfolio with additional tools to help organizations capture data collection, real-time analytics, and deploy on the edge of the cloud.

These new offerings include the Dell EMC VxRail satellite nodes, designed to extend automation and lifecycle management capabilities for edge workloads, and the latest version of the Dell EMC Streaming Data Platform with enhanced GPU to accommodate multiple data streams on the edge and support real-time analysis on Dell EMC VxRail and PowerEdge systems.

Grounded on its manufacturing edge solutions, Dell is working with Litmus to deploy a solution to help companies, especially in the manufacturing sector, manage different devices, data and applications to make faster decisions.

Validated Design for Manufacturing Edge can be built on Dell EMC VxRail or PowerEdge servers, with the option to use VMware Edge Compute Stack.

Dell has also launched its Dell EMC Edge Gateway, a fanless gateway with 9th Gen Intel Core processors that can withstand temperatures ranging from minus 4 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit and connect to 5G and wireless networks.

It is also designed to connect multiple edge devices and run local data processing and analysis applications to generate real-time information.

By using edge computing, users will be able to capture data and generate new values in those places to solve problems in ways they never had before.
