Microsoft Rolls Out Windows 11 to More Eligible Devices

In a recent announcement, Microsoft revealed that it will roll out the Windows 11 upgrade to more Windows devices.

This means that the step-by-step rollout plan issued by Microsoft will now be extended to other devices that were not previously able to benefit from the new operating system.

Microsoft stated: “The availability of Windows 11 has been increased and we are leveraging our latest generation machine learning model to offer the upgrade to an expanded set of eligible devices. We recommend that you upgrade your devices to Windows 11 to take advantage of the latest features and advanced protection from security threats.”

Microsoft estimates that by 2022 all eligible Windows 10 devices will be offered an upgrade to the latest version, provided that their computers are equipped with compatible hardware.

To run Windows 11, you must also run Windows 10 2004 and install at least the September 4 update.

To find out if their devices are eligible for the Windows 11 upgrade, users can use the PC Health Check application (a diagnostic tool that Microsoft developed and released with Windows 11 to analyze the hardware of the devices and determine whether they are compatible with Windows 11).
