Twitter iOS Adds New Search Button to Every User Profile

Share post:

For iPhone users using the Twitter app, a new search button was recently introduced that allows users to easily search for tweets from a specific user.

The new feature is located in the top-right corner of the screen next to the more button that hovers over profile cover photos, making it easier for users to search for articles or tweets they can only vaguely remember if someone tweeted months ago.

It can also help users search for tweets they have sent in the past and would like to see again.

For many who may not know, the feature is not a new Twitter feature, as users could previously search the regular Twitter search box for old tweets using the “from:[Twitter handle] [search term]” format.

The new feature is part of a series of features the social media company has launched in recent months to improve its platform and the company’s revenue in general.
