FTC Pushing Probe Into Amazon’s Cloud Unit

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), citing insiders, is pushing to continue its antitrust investigation into Amazon.com Inc’s cloud computing business.

According to an insider’s report, FTC officials have contacted several companies in recent months to gather information about competition issues related to Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The investigation stems from the Trump administration, which spearheaded investigations on the four tech giants.

Amazon has not yet responded to requests for comment.
