Two-thirds Of Americans Show Confidence In Cryptocurrencies

Two-thirds of 6,000 American respondents have expressed their confidence in cryptocurrencies. They believe that cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, altcoins, stablecoins, and others will become widely accepted as forms of payment in the next five years.

The survey conducted by Voyager Digital highlighted the growing confidence of Americans on cryptocurrencies despite high volatility. About 64% of respondents believe that crypto will gain value in 2022 while 61% expressed their desire to purchase some form of cryptocurrency this year.

Other takeaways from the survey include that women are the most receptive to owning cryptocurrency. Generation-wise, Gen X-ers, and Boomers are more bullish on cryptocurrencies.

Out of the two-thirds who believe in the widespread acceptance of cryptocurrencies in the next five years, 53% are women compared to 44% who are men.

Out of the 61% who vowed to purchase crypto this year, women accounted for 62% while men accounted for 60% of interested individuals. Gen X-ers accounted for most in support of the decision with 62%. 32% of Boomers plan to buy cryptocurrency in 2022.
