U.S. Internet Addresses Uses Chinese Computers to Conduct Cyberattacks

China has confirmed experiencing continuous cyberattacks with internet addresses in the United States.

These attacks according to state news agency Xinhua take over Chinese computers and use them to target Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine.

“Monitoring by the CNCERT/CC found that since late February, China’s internet has continuously faced cyberattacks from abroad. These overseas groups attacked by taking control of computers in the country to carry out cyberattacks on Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus. After analysis, most of the addresses for these attacks came from the United States,” Xinhua quoted CNCERT/CC.

CNCERT/CC is the National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China. CNCERT/CC is a cybersecurity technical centre that helps China detect and prevent cyber threats.

The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has escalated cyberattacks between major countries and organizations in the world.
