76% Of Remote Workers Prefer Remote And Hybrid Workplaces

According to a Deloitte report, 76% of workers prefer remote and hybrid jobs, while only 21% want to return to the old way of working before the pandemic.

47% of employed adults said they had worked at least partially from home in the past year, and those who worked from home “strongly prefer to have virtual or hybrid options for the future.”

Deloitte says that 45% of consumers surveyed said that one or more household members worked at least some of the time (down from 55% in 2021). In education, 23% said that one or more household members were attending school remotely.

The report showed that workers prefer remote working, mainly because it gives them the opportunity to spend more time with their families. Remote working also helps workers avoid expensive and uncomfortable commutes.

Remote working offers real benefits: according to Deloitte, eight out of ten remote workers experience better relationships.

“Companies that simply ignore employee demands for flexible working arrangements may risk losing a competitive edge in attracting and retaining the best workers,” the report says.
