AWS launches new video game to boost cloud solutions for financial services firm

Share post:

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has launched Industry Quest, an interactive learning experience that teaches how to build cloud solutions for any industry or field of work.

The game is designed as a first-person video game tasked with teaching cloud skills relevant to the banking and finance industries, as well as other industries. It tasks players with completing 20 scenarios in which they learn how to create fraud prevention, data lakes for financial services, serverless deposit accounts, and other cloud-based solutions.

To begin, users must select an industry, then begin with Financial Services, customize their avatar, and take over a virtual organization to transform it into an industry leader. Users can also create industry-specific solutions to earn a digital badge that they can share with their network.

Users are expected to create real AWS solutions to common problems such as fraud, financial account takeovers, ponzi schemes, and many others. Users can also select from solution building assignments created with the help of top AWS customers.

It addresses business needs by learning, practicing, building, and validating solutions in a risk-free AWS environment, and it provides knowledge that can be used in the real world.

Subscribing to the AWS Skill Builder can be done with an Individual or Team subscription.
