Elon Musk to launch AI platform “TruthGPT”

Elon Musk has announced his aim to launch a new artificial intelligence (AI) system called “TruthGPT.” The platform’s goal is to create an AI that is dedicated to uncovering the truth to the greatest degree feasible and tries to fathom the essence of the cosmos.

Musk believes that an AI interested in understanding the cosmos would be unlikely to kill humans since he sees people as a fascinating component of the universe. He compared such an AI to how humans protect chimps while being capable of annihilating them completely.

Musk also mentioned the platform as a solution for OpenAI, the AI software non-profit he co-founded, hinting that OpenAI’s for-profit arm may stimulate the creation of AI models that neglect ethical issues. TruthGPT, on the other hand, he positioned as a more transparent and trustworthy option.

Musk expressed his displeasure with the ChatGPT AI platform, stating that it was programmed to be “politically correct,” which he interprets as being untruthful. He termed his AI platform “TruthGPT,” which emphasizes the model’s emphasis on truth.
