Humane launches screenless AI-powered wearable device

Humane, the AI-powered wearable technology business established by former Apple engineer Imran Chaudhri, has launched a screenless gadget that does not require a smartphone to function.

For input, the wearable gadget combines speech and movements, and it may display information by projecting it onto adjacent objects. During the demonstration, Chaudhri demonstrated how the wearable gadget in his jacket pocket converted his voice into French. He also received a phone call from his wife, and the call information was displayed as a green picture onto his palm.

According to Chaudhri, the gadget is a new type of wearable device and platform designed from the bottom up for artificial intelligence. It is totally self-contained and does not require pairing with a smartphone or any other device.

The gadget is planned to be officially distributed on April 22nd, with additional information to follow in the coming months.
