Musk and Zuckerberg cage fight in doubts

The proposed cage battle between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg is in risk, with both tech titans expressing doubt on its viability.

In June, Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, challenged Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, to a cage battle. According to reports, the intended combat would be shown live on Musk’s social media network X, formerly known as Twitter. Using the new social networking app Threads, Zuckerberg offered a high-stakes cage fight on August 26th. However, there is currently doubt over whether the battle will go place.

Musk’s confirmation is still waiting after he claimed that he may require surgery on his neck and upper back, which might cause the fight to be postponed or cancelled. Zuckerberg is likewise skeptical of the fight, saying he is “not holding his breath” that it will happen.

When a Threads user inquired about the battle’s mutual accord. Zuckerberg responded with a cryptic parallel, equating it to “funding secured,” an apparent allusion to Mr Musk’s comments about intentions to take electric vehicle firm Tesla private in 2018.

Musk has declared that any proceeds from the battle will benefit veterans charities, although it remains to be seen whether Musk and Zuckerberg’s cage fight will take place.
