Microsoft’s Xbox secrets leaked

Share post:

A massive leak of confidential Xbox documents has shed light on Microsoft’s intricate plans for its gaming console. The files, which surfaced on a U.S. District Court website, reveal details about a new Xbox Series X refresh, an updated controller, and even the next-generation Xbox, which is rumored to support “cloud hybrid games.”

The document revealed an Xbox Series X refresh, codenamed “Brooklin,” which is expected to feature a rounded design, double the internal storage, Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, and a notable absence of the disc drive. This suggests that Microsoft may be shifting away from physical game discs in favor of digital downloads.

Microsoft is also planning to introduce an updated controller codenamed “Sebile.” This controller is rumored to feature precision haptic feedback, modular thumbsticks, and other advancements.

The leak also hints at the next-generation Xbox, which is set for release in 2028. This console is rumored to support “cloud hybrid games,” which would allow players to stream games from the cloud even if they don’t have a high-speed internet connection. Furthermore, the leaked documents reveal that Microsoft is interested in acquiring Nintendo.

According to Douglas Farrar, director of the FTC’s office of public affairs, “Microsoft is responsible for the error in uploading these documents to the court.”
