Elon Musk hints at new email service to compete with Gmail

Elon Musk has hinted at launching an email service named XMail, aiming to compete with Gmail and Outlook.

This revelation came from Musk’s response to a post on social media, reportedly from an employee of X.

The rumour sparked excitement among his followers. XMail could be associated with his company, xAI, known for its ambitious goal of understanding the universe and its humorous AI chatbot, Grok. However, concerns have been raised about the XMail name potentially being linked to adult content online. Musk’s ventures, including this, align with his vision of creating an ‘everything app’.
