Kyndryl, the world’s largest IT infrastructure services provider, has announced a new partnership with the Canadian Football League (CFL) to become its Official Digital Modernization Partner. This collaboration aims to enhance the CFL’s IT infrastructure, while also promoting diversity through sponsorship of the “Diversity is Strength Conversations” podcast series.

With 67% of Canadian organizations indicating that outdated IT infrastructure is holding them back, Kyndryl’s partnership with the CFL will focus on enhancing employee IT services, supporting the league’s 24/7 service desk, and providing on-site support. These improvements are expected to streamline IT operations, ensuring that all CFL devices are secure, up-to-date, and functioning optimally.

Kyndryl’s role will also include sponsoring the CFL’s “Diversity is Strength Conversations” podcast, which will be powered by SiriusXM starting in 2025. This podcast series aims to foster meaningful discussions on diversity and inclusion across the Canadian sporting landscape, aligning with Kyndryl’s ongoing commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The series will feature prominent voices from the sports community, including athletes, leaders, and trailblazers working to create positive change.

Kyndryl’s President, Farhaz Thobani, expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing their commitment to delivering a top-tier IT experience for CFL employees and fans, while also contributing to community impact initiatives. Tyler Keenan, CFL’s Chief Revenue Officer, praised Kyndryl not only for its IT support but also for its dedication to uplifting Canadian football and supporting diversity initiatives.
