Twitter Suspends Accounts Made To Tweet Trump’s Statements

Share post:

Last week, Twitter suspended a number of accounts set up to spread statements from former U.S President Donald Trump’s website.

Trump had been permanently barred from Twitter following the riots of the U.S Capital in January.

He has 88 million followers.

Last Tuesday, Trump’s page added a new page titled “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump,” where he posts messages that his supporters can share on both Twitter and Facebook.

A Trump representative denied any involvement in the blocked accounts, which included @ DJTDesk, @ DJTrumpDesk, @ DeskofDJT and @ DeskOfTrump1.

Trump is currently planning to launch his own social media platform.
