The Clubhouse audio app will debut worldwide on Android devices next week and will be launched in Brazil, Japan, and Russia on May 18, followed by the rest of the world on May 21.

The app began testing its Android Version in the US on May 9, and the iPhone version has been available since March 2020.

In April, Clubhouse saw some of the lowest downloads for the year for iPhone users.

Other social media apps such as Facebook and Twitter have introduced Clubhouse-like features to compete with the new platform and maintain user loyalty across their respective platforms.
