New Microsoft Edge Update Resolves YouTube Crashes

Share post:

Microsoft recently released Microsoft Edge 90.0.818.62, an update that fixed a YouTube issue that caused Microsoft Edge browsers to crash when users watched videos or read comments.

Earlier this month, Bleeping Computer revealed that the Microsoft Edge browser stops responding when users see a full-screen video with circular graphics for loading and the browser eventually crashes.

While Microsoft acknowledged the problem and also asked users to try Microsoft Edge Canary to test a fix they were working on, a Microsoft Edge engineer announced via a Reddit thread that they are still working on a full fix.

With the new update, which was recently released, users can now browse YouTube, watch videos and read comments without crashing the browser.
