Twitter Lists New ‘Blue’ Subscription Service In App Store

To diversify its revenue beyond advertising, Twitter has listed a new subscription service in app stores called “Twitter Blue.”

While the new service is listed as an in-app purchase priced at $2.99, Twitter refused to confirm the claims of technology blogger Jane Manchun Wong, who said that the new service includes a “undo tweet” feature and also a “reader mode” that makes it easier to read long threads.

“Twitter Blue” is now listed in app stores. Although it is not yet fully enabled for users, the subscription service is likely to launch soon, but it remains unclear in which countries the service will be available first.
