84% Of Mobile Users Will Have 5G Coverage In 2026

In its latest Mobility Report, a telecommunications company, Ericsson predicts that by the end of 2021 there will be 580 million 5G subscriptions and 84% of mobile users will have 5G coverage by 2026.

This will get 5G up and running to reach a billion users two years faster than 4G.

According to Ericsson, 2026 will be the year that 5G will reach global penetration, and the company predicts that the percentage of users per region will range from Sub-Saharan Africa to North America, which leads the regions with 84% users.
