5G Devices Are Cheaper, But Lack The Wanted Features

5G mobile devices are sold globally at lower prices as many consumers continue to wait for the faster service and other upgrades associated with 5G usage.

According to Strategy Analytics, 5G phones accounted for more than a fifth of global shipments last year, and 5G is expected to account for 45% of phone sales by 2021.

While 4G ushered in the smartphone age with apps such as Uber, Airbnb, Instagram and TikTok, the main benefit of 5G for consumers using smartphones is streaming games and higher-quality videos.

So far, there are no features that specifically require 5G or show how fast it is.
