Google Calendar Invites Will Accommodate Hybrid Workers

Share post:

To accommodate the growing shift toward hybrid work, Google’s Workspace will provide a new feature that allows Google Calendar meeting invitations to indicate how they would like to participate in a meeting.

The “Yes” button at the bottom of an invitation used by the web app will have a new drop-down window and a corresponding icon for three options: Yes, Yes, in a meeting and Yes, Virtual Join.

While the new feature is expected to launch in a few hours and will be fully available to all Workspace customers in the coming weeks, it will not be visible to users of Microsoft Outlook or other platforms.
