95% Of Workers Believe IT Problems Interfere With The Digital Experience Of Employees

95% of professionals believe that IT (Information Technology) problems affect the digital experience of employees in their companies, affecting productivity and diminishing workplace morale.

For many companies, experimenting with remote and hybrid work has led to the need for Digital Employee Experience (DEX). Although this adaptation is necessary to help companies navigate and better understand the change in their approach to IT challenges, it has not been sufficient.

To solve digital friction and address the root causes of business problems, organizations have introduced new technologies, undertake DEX maturity assessments. They also create Centers of Excellence (CoE) while putting strategies that improve DEX and enhance remote productivity and wellbeing.

Concerning the importance of DEX, 91% of employees believe that their organization has a strategy in place or is in the process of implementing a strategy. 80% of employees also acknowledge the importance of DEX as a key consideration in the digital transformation strategy. 90% of respondents say that there is still room for improvement.

Although companies are still a long way from achieving the desired employee experience, the results show that they can get DEX to achieve the desired goal in a remote working environment. The only issue is that such project will require time, strategy and full company support.
