China Moves To Compete With SpaceX’s Starlink

With billionaires and organizations investing in broadband from space, China does not seem to be lagging behind in trying to compete with SpaceX’s Starlink.

China now has a constellation operator, China SatNet, and the associated GuoWang, known as National Network Constellation with the necessary support.

While SatNet and GuoWang are still in the early stages of development, they will compete in certain markets with Starlink and others with considerable support from very high-level players, which will facilitate the likely launch of China’s satellite Internet constellation in the coming years.
