Elon Musk Cancels Plans To Produce The Model S Plaid+

Share post:

Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently announced via Twitter that Tesla will cancel plans to produce a supercharged version of the upcoming Model S Plaid +.

While Tesla’s Model S Plaid has a powertrain that can go from 0 to 60mph in 1.99 seconds, a top speed of 200 miles per hour and an estimated range of 390 miles, Elon Musk noted that Model S Plaid costing from $112,990 is so good that another variant of the model is not needed.

He said: “Model S goes to Plaid speed this week. Plaid+ is cancelled. No need, as Plaid speed is just so good.”
