62% of respondents to a survey said that COVID-19 had forced them to change their plans for digital transformation this year.

Although budgets continue to reflect the need for more digitisation projects, 38% of respondents said they would spend more on digital transformation in 2022 than in 2021, and 31% said their level of digital spending would remain the same as in 2021.

In addition to the fact that 42% of respondents benefited from digital capabilities around collaboration tools and 17% from cloud-based computing for systems such as HR, CRM, ERP, and office systems, and 8% from data analysis.

The priorities for digital transformation also changed year on year, with only 32% of respondents prioritising collaboration technology for remote workers, compared to 2020, when 68% of respondents focused on the introduction of digital remote solutions that could facilitate collaboration, digital and online training, and IT and business process automation.
