Canada Competition Bureau to Probe Google Advertising

Canada’s antitrust watchdog said in a statement on Friday that it had obtained a court order to continue its investigation into whether Google’s online advertising business unfairly harms competition.

The statement goes on to say that the Competition Bureau instructs Google to provide records and official information relevant to the bureau’s investigation, and that the bureau has made it clear that the investigation is ongoing and that it has not concluded that there was any wrongdoing.
