Ping Identity, Carahsoft To Fortify Cybersecurity Defenses

Share post:

Ping Identity has teamed up with IT provider Carahsoft to strengthen national cybersecurity defenses.

The partnership will help modernize America’s cybersecurity defenses with advanced identity, credential, and access management (ICAM) capabilities.

As part of the partnership, Carahsoft will also urge public sector companies to consider using ICAM solutions from Ping Identity.

Ping sees ICAM as “the set of tools, policies, and systems that an agency uses to enable the right individual to access the right resource, at the right time, for the right reason.”

Pings ICAM consists of five essential components, including federation, identity management, credential management, access management and governance.

Federation includes technology, policies, and standards that enable an agency to accept digital identities, attributes, and credentials managed by other agencies.

Identity management helps enterprises collect, verify and manage attributes via the provision of a high-performance data store. This is essential for identity and profile data.
