According to VezaDigital research, OpenAI’s website, openai.com, is the fastest growing among the top 50 most visited sites globally and is on the verge of achieving one billion unique users each month.

VezaDigital examined traffic statistics from Similarweb for the top 50 websites, concentrating on the overall number of visitors in March. According to the data, openai.com had a 54.21% increase in traffic volume within a month, outpacing all other leading websites globally. In March, OpenAI’s website had 847.8 million unique visitors, driving the platform to the 18th position in the worldwide rankings.

In February, OpenAI soared 24 spots from 51st to 27th, and it even eclipsed the one billion visit milestone, reaching 1.6 billion visits in March. The United States accounts for about one out of every nine visitors to the website, showing that the United States is the largest source of traffic for OpenAI.

According to Stefan Katanic, CEO of Veza Digital, ChatGPT is predicted to become the fastest website to achieve one billion monthly active users. He goes on to say that this demonstrates the tremendous public interest in AI-powered solutions, and that, regardless of the arguments around AI, it is now an important part of our current reality.
