OpenAI introduces “Shared Links” feature for ChatGPT conversations

Share post:

OpenAI has introduced “shared links” for its ChatGPT language model. This feature produces a unique URL, allowing users to effortlessly share their chats.

According to OpenAI, through a rollout procedure, shared links will progressively become available to all desktop platform users. The timetable for deploying this functionality on the iOS mobile app has not yet been revealed. It adds that shared links will improve cooperation by allowing particular messages or discussions to be shared with other users.

Account holders, both free and premium, may observe the debate in real time and access the complete conversation. Account users may continue the conversation by clicking the “Continue this conversation” button in a conventional chat window, while non-account owners can see the interaction as a static webpage.

Users can share a discussion by clicking on it in the sidebar and then selecting the Share icon. A popup titled Share Link to Chat will appear, displaying a preview of the chat. The user then chooses whether to expose or hide their identity, and the Copy Link button provides a shareable link.
