Microsoft will unveil several features during its Build 2022 developer conference scheduled for May 24.

One of the features enables Kubernetes for lightweight Windows edge computing devices. This possible b the Project Haven effort. This feature is important because edge computing remains the leading use case for container or Kubernetes-based deployments.

The Build event will witness a few Windows-related sessions, some of which will focus on the Microsoft App Store. Attendees should also expect a lot of Power Platform low-code; AI development tools; IoT; and hybrid/connected apps talk at the event.

The company also provided sessions for Microsoft Graph, a centralized application programming interface (API). Microsoft Graph gives developers access to data on everything from Teams, Outlook / Exchange, SharePoint and OneDrive to Azure Active Directory, Intune and Windows services such as Universal Print.

No new Windows OS features will debut at the event. Microsoft will be showcasing version 2 of its Synapse analytics platform code-named “Trident” at the event, with a session on the Synapse Gen 2 data warehouse on the Build docket.
