Apple unveiled a host of updates and products on Monday during the company’s Worldwide Developers Conference.

Key new additions include iOS 16 and its Buy Now Pay Later service, faster silicon (M2 chip), upgraded MacBook, new productivity features on iPadOS 16, improved health and fitness features on WatchOS 9, stricter security features and MacOS updates.

IOS16, the latest operating system for iPhones, will come with new features, including a refreshed lockscreen with new widgets, greater personalization, and a new approach toward notification. Its Pay Later feature allows users to pay with Apple where it is accepted, and pay in four installments over six weeks at no extra charge.

The new Apple M2 chip has 24 gigabytes of unified memory and is 18% better than its predecessor M1. The M2 chip can playback multiple 4k and 8k video streams.

Apple also launched a brand new MacBook Air, redesigned around the new M2 chip, weighing just 2.7 pounds and 11.3 inches thick, with a 13.6-inch liquid Retina display and a Magsafe charging system.
