Manual Solutions To Administrative Tasks Triggers Likely Resignation From Bank Workers

Share post:

According to a survey conducted by Zebra Technologies, 20% of bank employees have considered quoting their work as administrative tasks are done manually, resulting in inaccuracies and longer waiting times for customers.

Major findings from the survey include the fact that almost 80% of banks use a manual scheduling process that does not allow team members to manage their schedules or exchange shifts when needed.

95% of respondents want a mobile app to manage their working hours, exchange shifts or set scheduling preferences, and almost 40% of respondents report using non-sanctioned communication tools to discuss work-related issues with colleagues.

More than 80% of respondents report inaccurate forecasting tools and an inability to predict customer volumes, resulting in longer waiting times and poorly prepared staff.

Given that 95% of employees express their dissatisfaction with the workplace in connection with a lack of flexibility and control over their schedules, a workable solution is to introduce a mobile-based workforce management system.

Brian Wallace, senior director of banking services at Zebra, predicts an increase in the number of banks introducing new solutions to streamline administrative functions.
