Microsoft has informed its customers that Microsoft 365 apps and services will discontinue support for Internet Explorer 11 web browser from August 17, 2021.

After August 17, users trying to connect to Microsoft 365 may face connection failures or bad experiences.

Microsoft has stated that users who have problems accessing Microsoft 365 apps or services after the date will not be offered support.

The company has ruled out releasing new features, saying that the daily usage experience will continue deprecating until the M365 apps and services are slowly phased out.

The tech giant also stated that Microsoft Edge’s new Internet Explorer mode will not help extend Internet Explorer 11’s access to Microsoft 365 products beyond the time allotted to end support.
